“For every minute spent organizing, an hour is earned”

- Benjamin Franklin

Ikigai is a Japanese concept. It is the reason for one’s being, and is the point at which a person’s beliefs, values, passions and vocation converge. I believe organized spaces helps people discover, and pursue their ikigai.

Meet Arpita Verghese

I have lived in San Diego for almost twenty years, and I feel so fortunate to call it home. I was born in India and grew up in Dubai. My interests include reading, and learning about new cultures and their art, especially how it translates to craft and design.

I spent years as an executive assistant to senior leadership at UCSD, and I loved it - the fast pace, the problem-solving, the feeling of making a difference, and the joy of keeping everything running smoothly. But between the demands of that role, motherhood, and everyday life, I often found myself stretched too thin. Before leaving my job at UCSD, I struggled with the demands of motherhood, work, and life in general. Organization and planning became my zen place. The more I got my space, time, and tasks in order, the more efficient and effective I became in all my roles - at work and at home.

Like most things in life, organizing is an ongoing process, and setting up a good system lays the groundwork for continued success. Organizing truly brings me joy, and I want to share that joy with those who feel overwhelmed with their things, spaces, or their business processes.
